When John first met Jen, everything seemed to be coming up roses. They went out every Friday and talked on the phone every night. They swapped divorce war stories and offered each other support. And then tax season came around, and Jen offered to do his taxes. Things went downhill from there. According to John, she never even filed his taxes. When they went looking for a house, the South Shore home John thought they were going to close on was never in the works. And John wasn’t the first person Jen had fooled. Despite almost two years of dating, it turns out John might never have known Jen very well at all. On the episode Love and Taxes, John takes us through exactly how Jen had him fooled and the fallout.
