Is Fred Brito the ultimate con artist?
Fred Brito is a con artist who worked dozens of high-profile jobs, all with phony names and resumes. He fooled everyone from a Los Angeles mayor, state senators, the Red Cross, and even the Catholic church.

It’s reported that Fred Brito faked his way through god knows how many jobs. He’s worked as a high-profile fundraiser for a prestigious medical school, a court-appointed psychiatrist, and even a priest. But, of course, it was all based on lies.
I interview a lot of con artists. And the majority of them don’t consider themselves con artists. But unfortunately, that’s not the case with Fred Brito. Instead, he’s proud of his past schemes. In fact, he claims he’s been a stellar employee and performs better than someone with actual qualifications.
Fred Brito posed as a priest in order to hide from the authorities
Brito has been covered on Dateline NBC and Dr. Phil. You can see footage of Brito performing weddings and baptisms, and other Catholic ceremonies. So how did he manage to dupe so many companies for so long?
